Krupa Shah, a Mumbai-based painter, artist and a philanthropist, is nothing less than a bird who has the colourful wings to fly. Moreover, Krupa loves being an artist, as it gives wings to her imagination, creativity and to her thoughts.

She was fascinated about the art and painting since her childhood. Unfortunately, she couldn’t continue it for long as because of some life’s other commitments and priorities.

As it is correctly said that motherhood brings out the real “ME” out of a mother, so the same happened with Krupa. The painting got triggered again in her mind when she got pregnant. As been advised for a bed rest for a complete pregnancy time, she took up the canvas, colours and brush to fight off the depression, which is quite common symptom during the pregnancy. Painting helped her a lot as it was nowhere going to affect the baby instead relaxed her mind.

Krupa Shah, who was much into the realistic paintings, chose abstraction in different medium like oil paints, water colours and is now into the masterstroke of abstract painting having a good number of experience in abstraction. She chose abstraction as for her why to paint in between the lines. It should move beyond of it.

Being an artist, she believes colours impact in a person’s day to day life. It plays an important role as the emotions are mixed with the colours. Colours are of different meaning, it helps to change the level of emotions. Hence, it is good to have a proper knowledge about colours as they really help to deal with any emotion of your life.

Being a mother of three girls, she supports the view that upbringing of a child is associated with the psychology of a child. It is good to be friendly with your children, teaching them about right and wrong, instead upbringing and raising them in a tensed situation. And according to her, the best way to teach them positivity is to teach the children an art. It keeps the negativity away.

Lastly, being a socialite mum, she believes that a good health should come first for both mum and child, exercise a lot and do mediation as well. Meditation can be done in any way, either via paintings, music, dance or even through a simple meditation. Keep a proper routine and discipline at home so that a mum can even look after her child and her complete family. Try to refrain yourself from stress and be healthy.
